Nylon is the darkwave/post-punk project of the Brooklyn/Bogota duo Pat Friel and Lauren Karstens. The project started in the bedroom of a Philadelphia row home in 2016 as an experiment in shared musical release and trust. The two-piece harness the brooding grooves of gothic synthesizers, lush and sweeping guitars, and hypnotic repetition.
